 John Sherrill was an early proponent of the mediation process in Georgia, acting as a mediator in over 600 mediations since the early 1980s when he began mediating on the panel of Resolution Resources, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia.  He currently serves on the Commercial, Real Estate, and Construction Mediation Panels of the AAA, and handles numerous mediations on an ad hoc basis for which he is selected by attorneys and parties because of his reputation in the field.

John has written and lectured extensively on mediation related issues. including the Georgia Bar Journal, the Georgia Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the American Journal of Mediation, and the American Bar Association DR Section.  He is also currently a member of the Board of Directors of the American College of Civil Trial Mediators, a national organization composed of recognized top mediators in the commercial field.
